Irrigation infrastructure — centre pivots, overhead systems, drip and micro irrigation, pump stations, and water storage — is a capital-intensive investment that standard asset finance does not always accommodate. The asset is attached to land, often bespoke, and has a useful life that does not match a standard chattel mortgage term.

Clunes works with lenders who can finance irrigation infrastructure as part of a broader property finance structure or as a standalone asset finance facility. We also work on water entitlement facilities where the operator is acquiring rights.
